The Tamil Nadu government has stepped up financial support for female-led businesses under the 'Vetri Magalir Thozhilmunaivor Membattu Thittam' scheme.
Under the program, eligible women entrepreneurs can secure business loans ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 5 crore through the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation (TIIC).
The scheme seeks to promote institutional credit flow to women-led micro, small, and medium commercial enterprises across the state.
