First Captive-Bred Great Indian Bustards Prepared for Release into Wild

For the first time, captive-bred Great Indian Bustards are set to step into the wild. Two male chicks, aged between four and six months old, will be introduced into existing enclosures.

The release will take place at the Desert National Park in Jaisalmer, marking a critical milestone in the conservation and breeding program of the critically endangered species.
