Supreme Court Denies Relief to Jharkhand IAS Officer Pooja Singhal

The Supreme Court has refused to quash a trial court order taking cognisance of an offence against suspended Jharkhand IAS officer Pooja Singhal. Her plea seeking relief in an ongoing money laundering probe was dismissed.

With the apex court declining to stall proceedings, the trial against the senior bureaucrat under money laundering provisions will proceed before the lower trial court.
