J&K government collected ₹114 crore from job aspirants in three years while PSC advertised vacancies declined sharply.
According to figures shared by the government in the Jammu & Kashmir Assembly, the Union Territory collected ₹114 crore from job aspirants over a three-year period. Concurrently, the number of posts advertised by the Public Service Commission (PSC) declined from 2,586 in the 2023-24 financial year to 1,400 in 2024-25, and fell further to just 357 in the last financial year.
