Tigress Relocated from Valmiki Reserve to Buxa Tiger Reserve

A question can test knowledge of inter-state wildlife transfer protocols and tiger conservation initiatives in India. The relocation of a three-year-old tigress between two tiger reserves—Valmiki (Bihar) and Buxa (West Bengal)—represents a practical example of wildlife reintroduction programmes that form part of India's tiger management strategy.

No specific implementation concern is stated in the supplied report.

Tiger reserve management and inter-state wildlife coordination demonstrate India's institutional approach to biodiversity conservation within the constitutional framework of federalism, where both central and state authorities oversee protected areas and species reintroduction efforts.
