Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana approved for developing 100 investment-ready industrial parks over six years.
The Union Cabinet has approved the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA) with an outlay of ₹33,660 crore to develop 100 investment-ready, world-class industrial parks across India over six years. The scheme is the Government of India's flagship programme for developing modern industrial parks across States and Union Territories. DPIIT released operational guidelines in May 2026. The BHAVYA Portal is a digital platform developed by National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) serving as a single digital interface. The scheme will be implemented through Centre-State partnership with a 51:49 model. Park sizes vary by geography: 25 acres for hilly regions, smaller UTs and Northeastern States, with larger sizes for other regions. Key features include plug-and-play industrial spaces, reduced delays in land acquisition and approvals, dedicated spaces for startups, deep-tech, R&D and MSMEs. Land will be provided by State Governments while infrastructure support comes from Centre.
