Department of School Education selects 48 outstanding teachers across India for the National Teachers Award on Sept 5.
The Department of School Education and Literacy, under the Ministry of Education, finalized the selection of 48 meritorious school teachers from across the country for the prestigious National Teachers' Award to be presented on National Teachers' Day.
The National Teachers' Award honors educators who have demonstrated exceptional innovation, commitment, and leadership in enhancing the quality of school education and positively impacting students' lives in government and aided schools.
Candidates were chosen through a rigorous three-stage competitive selection process operating at district, state, and national levels. The award includes a certificate of merit, a silver medal, and a cash prize presented by the President of India.
